know about Tripindi Puja

Tripindi Shraddha, also known as Tripindi Puja, is a powerful Vedic ritual performed to appease and liberate the souls of deceased ancestors who may not have received proper rites or are still restless due to unfulfilled desires. Rooted in ancient Hindu tradition, this puja holds deep spiritual significance and is especially recommended for those facing ancestral curses (Pitru Dosha), repeated obstacles, or familial disharmony.

Significance of Tripindi Puja

In the Hindu belief system, our ancestors (Pitru) continue to influence our lives even after their physical departure. When their souls are not at peace, it may lead to disturbances or unexplainable issues in the lives of their descendants. Tripindi Puja is a way to offer food and prayers to these departed souls, helping them attain peace and moksha (liberation).

This puja is especially important if:

  • There has been a recent death in the family and proper rites were not performed.
  • Ancestors did not receive Shraddha for 3 or more years.
  • A person is experiencing delayed marriage, financial problems, health issues, or repeated failures.
  • Astrological chart shows presence of Pitru Dosha.
